THE TRUTH ABOUT ISLAM'S INTENTIONS
For some time we have become used to the constant debates regarding the place of Islam in Western society. Somewhere we seem to have added to this debate the politically correct nonsense of the fully inclusive society, that is except for Bible believing Christianity... not the lily-livered liberal variety that has compromised Gospel Truth for a quiet life, such yellow-bellied faith fits in nicely with the New World Order. In all this we are being sold the lie of 'moderate Islam' and radical Islam, When in fact there is no such thing as moderate Islam. As a political and social movement Islam is by its own definition and nature radical. The true intentions of Islam are clearly stated in the Koran:
* slay the unbeliever...
* make war on the infidels in your neighbourhood...
* kill the Jews and the Christians...
* Muslims must not take infidels as friends...
These are hardly the words of a moderate/liberal faith/movement. The intention of Islam is wholly deceitful, arrogant, and violent. But above all this it is imperialistic in a way that makes the old British Empire look like child's play. You don't believe me? Watch this:

ETERNAL HEALTH WARNING !!
Here is a warning of a new threat to the Eternal Welfare of anyone watching Revelation/Genesis TV. This ministry had no problem previously in airing ministry by Justin Peters, but all of a sudden they have launched an attack on Justin for naming and shaming Word of Faith ministries for their obvious errors. The Lord calls us not to be shy in pointing out error and pointing out danger. Is this anything to do with certain Word of Faith shows being accepted for their station? Either way Justin Peters is a sound man of God with a humble heart; he has no problem telling the truth to your face regarding the Biblical errors of Benny Hinn or any of his pals. I have no qualms then in publically warning you to be careful with Revelation/Genesis TV...better still don't watch them at all or support them at all! We cannot risk being led to Hell by false worldly teaching. It is my sincere prayer that Revelation TV management will hear the Lord in their hearts and repent of this error. THE TREASURE OF THE HOLY BIBLE
I often find myself in awe of The Word of God. Yaweh is Good...often at a low point in our lives we 'stumble' upon some great truth/blessing in our Bible. When in fact the truth is He watches over us and leads us in the paths of righteousness - to His very Words. The more I study the Bible the more I am humbled by the sheer accuracy of it historically and the Divine Patience and Compassion of a Holy God to rebellious humanity. Further to this train of thought I was extremely blessed by the following post by Bob Mitchell of Shofar Ministries:

I was chatting to my niece a few days ago over a coffee and she came up with the usual "Well come on uncle Bob, the bible has been translated so many times who knows what the originals were like? Today's bible might be totally diferent from the one they read 2,000 years ago."
Well in the nicest way that was a red rag to a bull for me.
I challenged her assumption by relating to her the histroy of the bible reliability as an ancient document.
For instance, we read Homer (not Simpson) and Caesar's wars and treat them as history yet question the bible's historical accuracy and trustworthiness.
The other ancient documents we posess in museums and academies around the world are almost laughable when put alongside the bible texts.

What about the Old Testament?
An amazing event occurred in 1947 with the beginning of the discovery of 931 ancient documents found in caves near the town of Qumran on the shores of the Dead Sea. The Dead Sea Scrolls:
Prove the OT Accurate
The manuscripts of the Dead Sea Scrolls date to as old as 400 BC. The OT manuscripts found are 900 to 1100 years older than the most reliable available Hebrew OT manuscripts.
When the Scrolls are compared to the newer manuscripts, they prove to be amazingly accurate, nearly identical. The few differences were mostly slips of the pen, spelling changes or word substitutions (over vs. above e.g.). The extreme accuracy of the newer documents puts to death the questions of the OT reliability based on time.
The Dead Sea Scrolls contained 223 OT manuscripts! Those 223 manuscripts include 38 of the 39 books of the OT! The one book missing is Esther, but other documents there refer to the story, so we know it was part of their culture.
Archaeology and the Old Testament
In the excavations in Jerusalem's "City of David" site archaeologists discovered two seals with the names of two ministers who comnspired to kill the prophet Jeremiah.
The seal impression, or bulla, with the name Gedalyahu ben Pashur, who served as minister to King Zedekiah (597-586 BCE) according to the Book of Jeremiah, was found completely intact just meters away from a separate seal impression of another of Zedekia's ministers, Yehukual ben Shelemyahu, which was unearthed three years ago.
Both ministers are mentioned in the Book of Jeremiah (Jeremiah 38 1-4) along with two other ministers when they came to King Zedekiah demanding the death of the prophet Jeremiah for preaching to the besieged city to surrender.
How about Queen Jezebel? Archaeologists have discovered her ring with her seal upon it.

HERB'S SEARCH FOR HAPPINESS
At over six foot and 380Ibs Herb couldn’t be overlooked by anyone. He was determined to get what he wanted out of life; he often said “the world aint gonna give you nothing except a hard time so you have to take it by the throat and make it deliver!” Herb had a good head for business; and if anyone knew how to make a few dollars – it was Herb! In short, Herb was on a mission to secure happiness in life.
Herbs’ story begins in South East Kentucky, where he was born and raised. After the later part of the depression he served in the Korean War as a tank commander. After military service Herb returned home to Kentucky and found employment as a coal miner. Herb decided to get into the haulage side of the coal industry, so he bought the first of many trucks. By the 1970s with hard work and determination Herb owned a fleet of thirty-seven trucks, and a major share in a big mining company covering four states. In ten years Herb had went from having little to being a millionaire. In 1980 Herb was satisfied – he had made life deliver, it was time to retire. Initially retirement was good to Herb – he was a happy man! But things started to go wrong in 1985 with a visit from the IRS. They seized hundreds of thousands of dollars in unpaid taxes. Herb always enjoyed a gamble, but really took to it big time in the 1980s. He would often leave home with only $10 and return days later with thousands of dollars: but it worked in the opposite direction too. Even though he was married with two daughters, he also liked the ladies. Poker and women became an expensive lifestyle, which needed funding. Herb started selling drugs to try and keep the finances flowing. To Herb it was just a way of making a profit, regardless of who it hurt. To those who knew him, Herb was a caring man who was always willing to help a soul in need.
In 1996 Herb started to behave strangely; forgetting where he put things or not recognising his surroundings while driving well-known roads. Eventually in 1998, Herb was diagnosed with Alzheimers Disease. This was a big blow to Herb, who had always been an independent man. His son-in-law, Allen, shared his faith in Jesus with Herb many times which he always rejected:
“I know I am going to hell, so I’m going to
live my life the way I want to live it while I
am here!”
Six weeks after his diagnoses things had progressed so far he couldn’t even feed himself. By this stage most of his ‘friends’ had abandoned Herb. The once powerful millionaire that had controlled a business employing many men was a shadow of his former self. He was now dependant on his own family. A month before his death Herb received a visit from a true friend, a man called Harry. It was a memorable meeting Herb just nodded or shook his head for most things. Harry shared his concern for his dear friend, he proceeded to explain how much God loved him regardless of how he had led his life . Herb listened as Harry shared how Jesus Christ paid the penalty of his sin on the cross. Finally, Harry asked Herb if he would like to receive Jesus, Herb just nodded . After a prayer Harry asked Herb if Jesus had entered his heart – the answer was already rolling down the cheeks of the hard man, as he wept! After that day Herb often sat on his porch gazing at the church at the end of the road. Three weeks later Herb passed from this life, and went to be with His Lord and saviour in Heaven. At last Herb had found true Happiness!
The last word goes to Allen, Herbs’ son-in-law:
“If you read this and you are not sure that you are saved, let me tell you…you can be! Just let go of the world and take the hand of Jesus. Ask Jesus to come into your life and set you free from the bondage of this world. Ask Him to forgive your sins and wash you as white as snow, and my friend…He will.”

TRACTS
I have always had a heart for sharing the gospel; after all someone took the time to share it with me once...and it saved my life. I particularly love using tracts, even if it is just to leave on a bus or put inside a returning library book. I have been blessed with the ability to write and I have produced some tracts of my own. I had stopped doing this but, the Lord reminded me of my duty to share His Good News. I have started writing tracts again. I will occasionally reproduce them on this blog for folks to read. If you feel you could use them feel free to do so. I have them formatted to a pdf trifold which I can email to you free of charge. I have said to a brother recently that i don't want money (or fame!) for these tracts - they are God's. My reward will be seen at a later date - hallelujah!
YOUR
DECISION?
This is the story of two old friends – one a doctor, the other a barber. Bob, the doctor went for his regular trim from Dave. They had went to school together and grew-up in the same town. Dave was the picture of an old barber, in his blue jacket and trademark cigarette hanging from his mouth. It was no surprise that the friends caught up and exchanged news on these visits,
“what you been up to recently?” Dave asked as he clipped and combed.
“I've just returned from Africa where I spent two weeks in a small clinic.”
“That would open your eyes Bob...all that poverty and stuff,” answered Dave shaping around an ear.
“You better believe it...it makes you thankful for our health service,” Bobs' eyes met Dave's in the mirror.”
“Here mate,” Bob pointed to Dave's lip,
“how long you had that spot on your lip?”
“About a month,” Dave rubbed the red sore.
“You should see your doctor with that.” said Bob. Dave smiled and smiled,
“I'll make an appointment for next week then.”
A few months pass by before Bobs' next appointment with Dave at the same place. In the chit-chat about work and weather Bob notices the sore on Dave's lip again,
“Did you go to your doctor yet about that lip?” he asked.
Dave just grinned, “Yeh...never got round to that yet, you think I should bother him with it still?”
Bob looked sternly at him,
“Make that appointment Dave!”
Another few months pass before the next meeting of the two friends when the sore lip was more obvious than before to Bob.
“Dave, what has your doctor said about your lip?”
“I haven't been yet Bob,” Dave confessed looking guiltily at his friend.
“make an appointment TODAY!” Bob ordered, this shook Dave to the core.
Months later Bob walked into the barbers, he was admiring the new décor when a young man came from the back room.
“Hi there, is Dave around?” asked Bob.
The young man smiled and pointed to a new sign Bob had missed which read:
“UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT”
The smile fell from Bobs' face as he heard that Dave had died of cancer two weeks earlier. He suddenly did not feel the need for a hair cut that day.
That afternoon Bob had a business lunch with another doctor. Having known Bob for some time, his colleague knew something was wrong with Bob,
“Do you want to tell me about what's troubling you Bob?”
Bob was glad of the chance to share his pain with someone he trusted – he told the whole story while his colleague listened.
“What upsets me most,” Bob paused, “is that I warned him three times to see his doctor...now he's dead because he didn't listen.” Bob looked forlornly into his drink but was shaken by his colleagues first words after the story,
“Bob that is human nature...I've shared my faith in Christ with you many times over the years, have you ever heard or acted on my warnings about your eternal health?” Bob looked his colleague in the eyes, he knew then he must not stall any longer securing his future.
What about you? You have read the story, but could this be you? How many times have you rejected God – will this be your last opportunity?
The Lord is ... patient towards you, not wishing for any to perish...

TURKISH STANCE WITH ISLAM AGAINST ISRAEL

In this short blog I just want to point you to the shifting sands of international politics; which are preparing the ground for the end of current history and the return of Jesus Christ - our Lord and Saviour. If we just read our newspapers and/or watch the local tv news bulletins occasionally we do not truly see the whole picture of what is taking place, even as I write. There are those who laugh off the claims of Biblical prophecy regarding the end times and the return of the Messiah; but their laughter must surely be turning to concern when they see the pace of change in our world which is paving the way for the rest of Biblical prophecy to be fulfilled. I believe by faith the Word of God, but I am not against reading available news on the web which I have found to back the claims of His Word. This surely builds the faith of those who 100% believe the Bible to be free from error...or even fairy tales!
At the end of this I offer the result of a search I carried out on Turkey in the world news, freely available on the web. Follow the stories from beginning to end and see the swift changing of the political landscape in the middle-east. Indeed this can be expanded on if you wish to follow it further; Turkey has been in the news in the first few weeks of 2010.
I urge you to take a little time to search the web news sites; check out the pace of political change, see the move to a "New World Order", watch the manoeuvres of the enemies of God's chosen people as they prepare to make war. Then you will surely see the Word of God for what it is: God's Timetable.

MESSIANIC JEWISH BRETHREN ATTACKED
Eliav Levin, leader of a small Messianic Jewish congregation in Beit She’an, Israel, reports his community is under serious violent attack. For the past six months there has been growing persecution against them from the Orthodox Jewish community of this ancient town. This has radically accelerated in the past 24 hours. The cars of congregational members are being systematically burnt, members are being threatened with violence and pressure is being placed upon landlords to revoke contracts with their Messianic tenants to remove them from their apartments.

Israel Approves 'Biometric Law'

The Knesset plenum approved Monday evening the 'Biometric Law' in the final readings. Forty Knesset members voted in favor of the law, 11 against and three abstained. The purpose of the law is the creation of a biometric database that would hold the fingerprints and facial photos of all of the country's citizens. The data would be stored in the Interior Ministry computers.
MK Nitzan Horowitz (Meretz), who led the opposition to the law, said after its approval that the vote was “a serious mistake which causes grave harm to freedom of the individual in Israel.”
"I hope that we do not pay too heavy a price for it,” Horowitz said. “In any case, it has been proven that an unrelenting public struggle by idealists can have influence and make a difference. The proof is that the law in its final wording is completely different from the original version.”
During the Knesset debate about the law, MK Horowitz stood at the podium and held up printouts of information from the Ministry of Interior's database which contained information about Knesset members and which reached the Internet. He said that he would not show the contents so as not to invade the MKs' privacy. “The leaked data which reached my hands prove how easy it is to break into government databases,” he said. “I hope that this will not be the fate of the biometric database.”
MK Dov Henin (Hadash) said that despite the government's statements that it would not force Israeli citizens to join the database, “in fact, whoever does not do so would be punished – he will not be able to leave the country's borders, since he would not receive a passport at the level required in developed countries.” The database is not truly a voluntary one, he said.
Faked fingerprints
On the same day that the Knesset approved the law, news from Tokyo appeared to show that this system, too, was not foolproof. Police in the Japanese capital said that they arrested a 27-year-old Chinese woman suspected of illegally entering the country after surgically altering her fingerprints to deceive a biometric recognition system operated by immigration officials.
Lin Rong, 27, had reportedly paid $15,000 to have the surgery in China.

She Waited Five Years for a Bible
“Now we are on vacation, honey,” the Iranian pastor said to his wife. “Please, don’t do anything that will make the police question us. Let’s not ruin this time together.”
The pastor’s wife was a walking witness for Jesus Christ. She had handed out thousands of Bibles to Muslims in Iran and over five thousand copies of the JESUS film.
At the seaside city where they were vacationing, they went to the mall. They separated to look for the different things they wanted, and when the pastor returned, he found his wife telling a large group of people in the store about Jesus Christ.
Looking around for secret police, he quickly ushered his wife out of the store and into their car. “Honey, we are on vacation. I thought we weren’t going to do that here.”
She looked him in the eye. “There are many people back in that store that don’t know Jesus,” she said seriously. “If they die and go to hell, you are responsible.”
The chastened pastor turned the car around and drove back to the mall. Quickly his wife went back inside, handing out copies of Scripture and the JESUS film.
One lady came forward. “Oh, thank you so much,” she said tearfully. “For five years I have been praying for a Bible, and now the Lord has answered my prayer.”
Vacations make great memories. Walks on the beach. Shopping in the city. Reading by the fire. Yet as much as we need a break from our everyday routine, we are never really entitled to take a break from our witness. In fact, our witness ought to be so much a part of our personalities that we can’t separate the two. The apostle Paul never went anywhere as a “tourist.” For people like the pastor’s wife in this story, it’s not something they can turn off and on like a light switch. Their bold witness is simply who they are, and it comes out naturally in season and out of season. The unnatural thing is a compartmentalized faith—it comes across as fake. Instead, let your faith grow freely in your everyday experiences.
